Dan Devoe was born and raised in the great nation of Canada. He is a true Canadian artist who loves to write and illustrate children’s books. Dan is originally from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island but now lives out west in Calgary, Alberta. He grew up in a family of 7 kids, which included 5 crazy sisters and 1 younger brother, who is not as good looking as Dan. Being raised by a father from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and mother from Montague, Prince Edward Island was the perfect breeding ground for raising a storyteller of tall tales and whimsical stories.

Even as a kid Dan wrote many ridiculous tales including a story about a crime fighting man dressed as a banana and a cape crusader named Super Squirrel. 

He is new to the Canadian book market and plans to keep with it until everyone from Shubenacadie to Clo-oose have heard his stories!
